Consumer Advisory Subcommittee
The key word for EPC is community. We are a community palliative care service who is keen to have input from those EPC cares for and other people within our community.
The EPC Consumer Advisory Subcommittee was established in 2019 and provides important insight and advice about care and experiences. It gives wider views on community palliative care. A member of EPC’s Committee of Management sits as part of the CAS allowing minutes of meeting and issues to be directly reported to the Committee of Management.
The Consumer Advisory Subcommittee (CAS) is one way to contribute to improving the care, support and services at EPC.
If you are interested in joining the CAS please complete our contact form or phone 1300 130 813.
Members of the CAS provide consumer and community perspectives to key committees such as the EPC Clinical Governance & Ethics committees, and contribute to projects and overall awareness about carer needs. You will be well supported on any committee or activity and your voice heard.
The CAS has an Engagement plan 2021-2022 that documents achievements and planned activities.

Testimonial
“My family couldn’t have nursed Dad at home without the support of EPC. The care and guidance we received from the team was exceptional. I am a part of the Consumer Advisory Committee because I want to be able to contribute to the vital work done by EPC .” - Maree, CAS member
